Originally from Ontario, Canada, Kaitlyn Vivian is currently a senior dance major at Point Park University pursuing a BFA in modern dance. Before transferring to Point Park, she completed two years of study at the University of the Arts. During her time at both institutions, she has had the privilege of performing in works created by Sidra Bell, Norbert De La Cruz III, Shayla Ve Jenkins, and Paul Mattheson, among others. Her favorite of which was Norbert de la Cruz’s “Cloud Nine”. She also had the opportunity to work closely with her mentors, Gary W. Jeter II and Kim Bears Bailey, learning valuable lessons both inside and outside the studios. When Kaitlyn is not in the studio, she is involved in her love of fitness and passion for teaching younger dancers, as well as developing choreography for studios in the Ontario area.
